Track A: Yard-to-Yield Conversion

Turn your yard into a living ecosystem that yields.

Under that yard is an ecosystem waiting to happen: a food garden, native pollinator habitat, or both, plus the Cal Water rebate (up to $7,500 per yard) along the way. Pick your level of support.

Free to start. Flat one-time fees after that, each rolling forward as credit toward the next tier.

We assemble it · you file and stay in charge

A more detailed plan with more detailed imagery, plus a researched list of contractors who might be a fit. We're not affiliated with them and don't negotiate on your behalf, we just do some of the legwork so you're not starting from zero.

  • More detailed reference imagery for your specific plan
  • A researched list of contractors who might be a fit (informational only, see disclosure)

Full Project Completion Support

On hold, pending a licensing/registration decision

This tier is on hold. It previously described making calls to verify contractor cost and availability on a client's behalf, which California treats as unlicensed contracting without a CSLB license or a registered sales relationship with a licensed contractor. We're resolving that before offering it again.

  • Not currently offered. Ask at your discovery call for the latest status

Custom Site Advising

Fully custom · call or book a meeting to scope it

Every property is different, so is the plan. Bigger site, unusual layout, or something beyond a standard yard conversion? Call or book a meeting and we'll figure out together what makes sense.

  • A conversation about your specific property and goals
  • Everything in Tier 2, where it applies to your site
  • A custom scope and quote based on what you actually need
  • Automation and systems advisory (FarmBot-style hardware, vendor evaluation) as part of the conversation
  • Discounts available: ask about our senior and military programs

After the build

Your ecosystem grows. So do you.

A conversion is a beginning, not an ending. We stay with you as your land matures: seasonal advising, continuing education, and hands-on training, up to and including semi-autonomous robots you build and train yourself.

Restaurant Partners

SB 1383 is already law.

California law requires organic waste diversion.
Penalties began in 2024.
Most Chico restaurants are still figuring it out.

We're looking for 20 founding partners to build the pilot with.

Second Hands: Robotics Pilot Program

Pilot a robot arm yourself. Train it to help around the place.

We help forward-thinking property owners get hands-on with modern automation: bimanual robot arms you operate directly and train over time, built on the same open-source lineage as academic work like AhaRobot and community frameworks like Hugging Face's LeRobot. A fully custom industrial setup can run tens of thousands of dollars. The open-source path is dramatically cheaper, in tiers:

  • Stationary bimanual prep: a tabletop leader-follower arm setup for training on small tasks: slicing soft food, assembling simple items, light bench work.
  • Lightweight mobile chores: add a mobile base for wiping counters, picking up light items, and vision-guided pickup tasks.
  • Heavy-duty housekeeping: full whole-body cleaning and heavy cookware handling needs industrial-grade arms, the top of the cost range.

We'll help you scope the right tier for what you actually want to do and evaluate hardware options, then walk you through assembly, calibration, and learning to pilot and train it yourself. You buy, build, and own the equipment.
