01 Overview
Content here is for discussion and replication. It is not investment, legal, tax, medical, or engineering sign-off—verify anything material with primary sources and your own judgment.
Waitlist & email. The homepage Join the waitlist control opens a small dialog: the email field and consent controls are not connected to a live list until we publish that flow (see privacy below). If we use an external form (for example Google), we will link it from the dialog and name the processor in this page. Newsletter blocks elsewhere are still wiring placeholders; when they send mail, we will name the processor and how to unsubscribe.
02 Privacy
Hosting. The site is static files. The host (for example Cloudflare) may log requests like any normal website. This repo does not add a first-party visitor database or ad pixels.
Waitlist (future). Until a real signup flow ships, nothing you type in the hero waitlist dialog is submitted to Johnny Autoseed. If we enable a hosted form link, your submission goes to that provider; we name them on Privacy as subprocessors when that happens. When we operate our own list, this section will state what we store, retention, and how to opt out or unsubscribe.
On your device. Preferences and game-like state stay in your browser unless you allow optional cookies (plant quiz, etc.). That includes cookie consent, Scout badges and garden, tycoon save data, a small hero easter-egg flag, and garden planner exports—none of it is sent to our servers by this codebase.
Reset everything here. Clears that local data, optional cookies, site caches, and any registered service worker for this origin, then reloads the page. You will see the cookie banner again.
03 Figures & sources
Figures blend public datasets and vendor-reported specs; they are directional, not independently audited, and can go stale. Confirm with primary sources before you rely on them.
