1. Our Commitment

Johnny Autoseed LLC is committed to making johnnyautoseed.com usable for as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, or screen magnification. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as part of building the site, not an afterthought.

2. Conformance Target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as a practical target. We test and improve against these guidelines on a best-effort basis as the site evolves. We do not claim full conformance at all times on every page, and some content (see Known Limitations) may fall short.

3. What We Do

Measures we take across the site include:

• Semantic HTML structure with landmarks and a “skip to main content” link;
• Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive tech;
• Full keyboard operability for navigation, menus, and interactive controls, with visible focus styles;
• Color choices chosen for legible contrast, and an aged-paper palette that avoids pure white glare;
• Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, which disables non-essential animation;
• Responsive, mobile-friendly layouts with adequately sized tap targets and scalable text.

4. Known Limitations

Some parts of the site may not be fully accessible, and we are working to improve them:

• Third-party embeds. Embedded YouTube videos, the Substack newsletter widget, and Google Forms are controlled by those providers and may not fully meet WCAG. Where possible we provide a direct link or an alternative way to reach the same content.
• Interactive prototypes and tools. Some experimental tools, calculators, and visualizations may have gaps in keyboard or screen-reader support. Tell us what you need and we will help directly.
• PDFs. Downloadable documents such as the proposal may not be fully tagged for accessibility. We can provide the information in another format on request.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or you need information from this site in a different format, please contact us and tell us the page and what got in your way. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and to provide the content or assistance you need.
